Last updated: June 1, 2026
This policy explains what information Saviour collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to the Saviour mobile app on Android and iOS.
Information We Collect
- Account information such as your name, email address, and profile photo when you sign in with Google.
- Expense, income, budget, category, receipt, and chat information that you add to Saviour.
- Receipt images or text extracted from receipts when you choose to scan or import a receipt.
- Voice input when you choose to use speech features.
- Device, diagnostic, crash, and performance information used to keep the app reliable.
How We Use Information
- To save, sync, and display your expenses, budgets, categories, insights, and account history.
- To provide AI-powered financial assistance, parsing, receipt review, and spending suggestions.
- To authenticate your account, keep your data associated with your user profile, and protect access to your information.
- To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, improve reliability, and understand whether core features are working as expected.
AI Features
- Saviour may send the expense text, receipt text, chat prompt, or related financial context you provide to an AI service so it can answer your request or classify an expense.
- Do not enter highly sensitive information, such as full card numbers, passwords, government identity numbers, or banking credentials into chat or receipt fields.
Firebase and Google Services
- Saviour uses Firebase services such as Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Remote Config, Cloud Messaging, and Crashlytics.
- Google Sign-In is used for account access. Firebase stores account-linked app data and helps deliver configuration such as the AI service key without hardcoding it in the app.
- These services may process data according to Google's own terms and privacy practices.
Subscriptions & Billing
- Saviour Plus is an optional paid subscription available on a monthly (₹79/month) or annual (₹599/year) basis.
- All payments are processed by Google Play. Saviour does not collect, store, or have access to your payment card details.
- Subscriptions include a 14-day free trial for new subscribers. After the trial period, your subscription will automatically renew at the selected plan price unless cancelled.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings.
- Saviour stores your subscription status (active or inactive) to determine which features are available to you.
Permissions
- Camera and photo access are used only when you choose to scan or import a receipt.
- Microphone and speech recognition access are used only when you choose to speak an expense or prompt.
- Notification permission is used only if you enable reminders or spending recap notifications.
Data Sharing
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We share information only with service providers needed to operate the app, such as Firebase, Google Sign-In, cloud storage, crash reporting, and AI processing providers.
- We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, or to protect the app from abuse or security threats.
Data Retention and Deletion
- Your app data is kept while your account is active or while needed to provide the service.
- You can delete expenses or clear app data from inside Saviour where those controls are available.
- You can permanently delete your account and all associated data — see "Account & Data Deletion" below.
Account & Data Deletion
- In the app: open Profile → Delete Account. Confirming permanently removes your account and all of your expenses, budgets, categories, and chat history from our servers.
- By request: if you cannot access the app, email feedbacksaviourapp@gmail.com from your account email address with the subject "Delete my account". We will delete your account and associated data within 30 days.
- Crash and diagnostic logs that contain no personal identifiers may be retained briefly for reliability purposes.
Security
- We use Firebase security features and account-based access controls to help protect your information.
- No system is perfectly secure, so you should avoid adding unnecessary sensitive information to the app.
Children
- Saviour is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
- We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, service providers, or legal requirements change.
- The latest version will always be available in the app and at this page.
